Medical and Dental Insurance
The Colorado Springs School pays 85% of the premium for individual coverage; faculty/staff members pay a portion of the premium to add dependents to the plan. The school currently provides insurance through Kaiser Permanente.
The Colorado Springs School pays the premium for life insurance in the amount of twice an employee’s annual salary up to a maximum of $200,000.
TIAA/CREF Retirement Program
The Colorado Springs School contributes five percent of a faculty/staff member’s salary after a two-year waiting period unless the faculty/staff member is already contributing to TIAA-Cref. Faculty/staff members may opt to contribute additional pre-tax dollars up to the IRS maximum.
